Arizona State Fair Concert Series: 3 Acts Announced

PHOENIX – The Arizona State Fair on Monday announced three acts for its 2024 Coliseum Concert Series.

The All-American Rejects will take the stage at the Arizona Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum on October 12, followed by the I Love the 90s Tour on October 18 and Big Time Rush on October 25.

Tickets for each show go on sale at 10 a.m. on July 12. Prices start at $25 and include admission to the show, a $15 value. Arena seating is fully reserved for all Coliseum Concert Series shows.

Who are the artists in the 2024 Arizona State Fair Coliseum Concert Series?

The All-American Rejects are one of the most successful alternative rock bands of the early 2000s, when they reached the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 charts with “Gives You Hell”, “It Ends Tonight” and “Dirty Little Secret”.

The “I Love the 90s” tour features three artists who created some of the biggest hits of the decade: Vanilla Ice (“Ice Ice Baby”), Rob Base (“It Takes Two”) and Montell Jordan (“This Is How We Do It”).

Big Time Rush was formed as a fictional boy band for the Nickelodeon show of the same name, which ran from 2009 to 2013. The group was popular enough to continue to be successful long after the show ended.

Arizona State Fair officials are working to book more artists for this year’s program. Last year’s Coliseum Concert Series, the first after a three-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, included six shows: Walker Hayes, Becky G, Ne-Yo, Brothers Osborne, Violent Femmes and Carly Pearce.

When does the 2024 Arizona State Fair start?

The 140th Arizona State Fair will be held Thursdays through Sundays from September 20 to October 27 at the fairgrounds at 19th Avenue and McDowell Road in Phoenix.

The Arizona Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum, the original home of the Phoenix Suns, is the largest venue on the property.

Additional concerts, included in the admission price, are planned on other stages throughout the fairgrounds. Most shows will feature tribute bands, with performances by Fleetwood Mac, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Green Day and other popular artists.

And of course, this year the fair will again feature the usual rides, fairground games, fried food galore and other attractions.

We want to hear from you.
