Biden’s ugly debate performance sparks full-blown civil war among Democrats – get your popcorn

Grab your popcorn and take a seat.

Americans have not seen the hottest political spectacle in decades: Democrats behaving like Republicans.

Suddenly, party members who have recently tended to stick together find themselves involved in a district shooting squad.

The insults, name-calling and ugly exchanges reflect the way in which Republicans have squandered their majority in the House of Representatives.

Of course, the stakes are even higher in the Democratic civil war, which was sparked by President Biden’s debate debacle.

The situation was so bad that politicians and donors became increasingly bold and publicly called on Biden to withdraw from the race.

What you should know about the aftermath of President Biden’s debate appearance:

In an arrogant response, the campaign team attacked the “bedwetter brigade” and called on the complainers to get back in line if they wanted to beat Donald Trump.

Unfortunately, the order to keep quiet doesn’t work, as even some of the party’s most trusted servants abandon ship.

CNN’s Jake Tapper, otherwise a full-time Trump critic, accused the White House and Biden’s campaign team of using Orwellian tactics to silence dissidents.

“There is a pattern, a recognizable pattern of Democratic officials seemingly trying to persuade you, the public, not to believe what you saw and heard with your eyes and ears on Thursday night,” he said of the debate he helped moderate.

Gibberish Joe

As the world knows, the debate was dominated by Biden’s baffling wits and gibberish, such as “we finally beat Medicare.”

His false claim that not a single soldier had been killed during his tenure shocked the grieving families of Gold Star militias. In the last three years alone, at least 16 soldiers have been killed in hostilities.

The confrontation, which Biden had called for in order to improve his declining poll numbers, was a political earthquake whose aftershocks will reshape the presidential campaign.

I expect the President to follow the path of the politically troubled LBJ in 1968 and get out within a month.

Meanwhile, Biden’s secrets are being revealed and the public is finally gaining insight into the extent of his cognitive decline.

It appears that he is a part-time president whose working hours are less strict than those of the average civil servant.

The commander-in-chief is only “reliably busy” for about six hours a day, insiders told Axios.

They said that outside the 10am to 4pm time frame, he was more likely to be speechless and exhausted.

Good work if you can get it.

As Axios noted, most of the president’s public events are scheduled for this time, meaning his advisers have created a Potemkin village out of a fully functioning president.

Health information a secret

Politico also reports that Biden has become more difficult to deal with on routine matters and that briefings are designed to please him and avoid his tantrums.

“It’s like saying, ‘You can’t put that in, it will upset him,’ or ‘Put that in, he likes it,'” one source, who is only a senior government official, is said to have said.

It was further said that Biden refuses to accept advice from anyone outside a small inner circle and is living in increasing isolation.

While it is a welcome development that staff are coming clean, Biden’s true health remains a mystery.

And what about China, Russia and Iran – do you know the list of its sufferings?

Does their knowledge explain their aggressiveness and their belief that America itself is in decline?

And then there is the Washington press.

Where was it?

If there is a Pulitzer Prize for the best cover-up of government corruption, the major Washington media should share it.

They have sheepishly accepted that Biden has given far fewer press conferences and interviews than presidents of recent years.

A little curiosity about the reasons and some research might have revealed what we know today about his condition.

But that would have benefited Trump, so curiosity and the shovels remained in the closet.

Worse still, the media became a megaphone for White House disinformation.

When the ever-lucky press secretary recently declared that the videos of the president stuttering and mumbling were “cheap fakes,” many media outlets immediately repeated her lie and presented it as fact.

This makes the press the real, lying, dog-faced pony soldiers that Biden once strangely referred to.

Keeping it a secret was key to maintaining the illusion that he was ready for a second term, says Carl Bernstein.

Although he suffers from a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome, the former Watergate reporter told CNN that the ugly debate scene was not an isolated incident.

Complicity in the cover-up

“In the last year and a half, there have been 15, 20 occasions where the president has behaved something like the horror show we’ve witnessed here,” Bernstein said his sources told him.

Historical media cover-ups of Oval Office secrets, such as the fact that FDR needed crutches and JFK was a serial seducer, are often dismissed as relics of the past.

But there is no excuse for this case; it is perhaps the most dangerous cover-up of all.

Correction – there is an apology. Trump.

The truth could make him president again, so it had to be kept secret.

The declining public trust in the media is justified.

Biden himself revealed another secret on Monday in a sign of his desperation.

To conceal the ghostly pallor he displayed during the debate, he wore exaggerated bronze makeup and condemned the Supreme Court’s decision on presidential immunity.

The ruling will likely result in Trump’s federal trial on charges related to Jan. 6 being postponed, prompting Biden to call for a trial before the election.

“The public has a right to know the answer to the question of what happened on January 6th before they vote again this year,” he said.

His request, which he read from a teleprompter, may have been directed at the judge in Washington, DC, who was hearing the case.

Tanya Chutkan was appointed judge when Biden was vice president under Barack Obama and has so far sided with the prosecutors in this case.

A real threat to democracy

Still, Biden’s comments are a reminder that he was not a bystander in this case or in the other cases brought by Democratic prosecutors against Trump.

In April 2022, the New York Times reported that Biden told advisers he was frustrated that Attorney General Merrick Garland had not prosecuted his predecessor – and future opponent – for the Capitol riots.

Within months, Garland appointed a special prosecutor who secured two federal indictments against Trump, including the one most affected by the Supreme Court ruling.

And now Biden is furious because the cases are at stake and his use of the courts as a weapon against his opponent is failing.

Even the delay in Trump’s planned conviction in the show trial in Manhattan increases the likelihood that the verdict will be overturned on appeal.

The importance of these developments cannot be overestimated.

The Democrats’ claim that Trump was a threat to democracy was always just a fig leaf to hide the fact that they were the ones playing by the banana republic’s rules.

And now the dirty conspiracy seems to be coming to light.

Goodbye forever! And hopefully goodbye forever! And goodbye forever! Also goodbye forever!
