There is no doubt that Robert Irwin is the son of the late conservationist Steve.

And a newly emerged snapshot makes fans look twice.

In 2019, 20-year-old Robert recreated an iconic photo showing his father feeding Murray, Australia Zoo’s most dangerous crocodile.

In the picture, the teenager looks incredibly similar to Steve and is wearing the same Australia Zoo uniform of khaki shorts and matching shirt.

The photo shows Robert, just like Steve, dangerously close to the dangerous animal.

A social media user shared the side-by-side comparison again on Facebook on Wednesday.

“Steve Irwin and his son. Same place, same crocodile, 15 years apart,” the post read, with the caption “Jesus Christ Steve was a fucking legend, hey!!”

Fans were quick to share their thoughts on the comparison.

There is no doubt that 20-year-old Robert Irwin is the son of the late Wildlife Warrior Steve, but a resurfaced snap had fans doing a double take. Both pictured

“He would be so proud x,” commented one fan.

“Australian icons,” wrote another, while a third noted: “Dad looks calm, son looks worried.”

Steve, known as the “Crocodile Hunter”, died tragically on 4 September 2006 at Batt Reef near Port Douglas in far north Queensland when he was bitten by a stingray.

In 2019, Robert recreated an iconic photo of his father feeding Australia Zoo’s most dangerous crocodile, “Murray.”

News of Steve’s tragic death sent shockwaves across Australia and around the world as his fans mourned the tragic loss.

Steve’s family has continued his mission to promote and protect wildlife through Australia Zoo.
