Suki Waterhouse talks about the “dark” breakup with Bradley Cooper – and what Robert Pattinson thinks about her famous ex!

Suki Waterhouse‘s romantic past has been the subject of much conversation over the past decade – but usually not by her! British Vogue caught Bad batch star in a rare moment of candor this week!

The new mom sat down with the outlet for an interview published on Tuesday in which she talked about many things, including the fact that she has a daughter with Robert Pattinson Earlier this year. Sounds like he’s a great dad!

But inside she FINALLY talked about her previous relationship with Bradley Cooper. If you didn’t know, she and the Hangover The two stars were first linked in 2013 but always remained quiet about their relationship – even two years later in 2015 when it was announced that they had broken up. Suki released a song called Brutally Rumor has it that it’s about Bradley, but nothing has been confirmed. And she still hasn’t said anything. Until now…

During her interview Good looking The singer told the publication:

“I would honestly say I’m feeling pretty strong at the moment, but when something very public happens to you and the story behind it is dark and difficult, and you’re not really feeling well and you can’t explain yourself to the world, it’s very isolating and disorienting.”

Oops…

When she and Bradley started dating, she was just 21 years old, while he was 38. And being with a man SO famous put her in the spotlight more than she expected, which must have been confusing. But what was this “story behind” the headlines? What happened that was so “dark and difficult”? She really makes it sound like a terrible breakup. She added, mentioning her new family:

“It probably took me a decade to find my way and actually be able to make this expansion in my life.”

Talking about how she gets rid of some of the pain through the songwriting process, Suki added:

“You can’t let go of things until you expose them to sunlight and they wither and die. A lot of it just doesn’t go away.”

According to the outlet, Suki spoke about her track Brutally At Tick Tock a few years ago and confessed to his fans:

“I was so scared to release the song. And I feel so sad when I sing it. So, so sad. I never thought I would ever be okay again.”

Whoa… Bradley must have had a HUGE influence on her! Their relationship happened during her VERY formative years, so it makes sense.

Sadly, she told the outlet she believes heartbreak “always stays with you.” Ultimately, however, she noted that she “wouldn’t take anything back” as her past experiences have led her to a “really pure love and real life.” Ohhhh! That’s so sweet!

As we mentioned, she and Robert had a baby girl earlier this year, and he obviously loves her with all his heart. She said:

“I wake up in the morning and feel really good. I’ll probably go down again at some point, that’s just how it goes. But you carry your scars and if you can take them and turn them into something and share them, then that’s the best thing.”

“Sharing” her scars?? Oh my gosh! So vulnerable and so sweet! Glad you love her for who she is, Rob! The 32-year-old also noted that she “wouldn’t have believed you if you had told her during her ‘dark’ phase where her life would be now.” She really did get her fairytale ending!

But what does Rob think about her famous ex-boyfriends? Not only BCoop, but also actors Diego Luna and musicians Miles Kane“Even though the relationships are long over, she still writes about them in her songs for therapeutic reasons. Does he get jealous or possessive like Edward Cullen in real life?

NOT AT ALL! He is apparently too conceited! She told the magazine:

“He didn’t care at all. He said, ‘Nobody is better than me, so what does it matter.'”

Ha! It sounds like Suki agrees…
