Famous Ohio landmark is one of the “worst tourist traps” in the USA

Business Insider recently published a list of places that attract tourists from across the country that may be more overrated than iconic landmarks that everyone must see. And making the list is a place that draws thousands of visitors to Ohio each year.

The house from the movie “A Christmas Story” in Cleveland, Ohio, brings back many nostalgic memories for fans of the Christmas classic. But according to Business Insider, it ends up on the list of the worst tourist traps in the USA that may not be worth a visit:

There are hundreds of ways to celebrate the holidays. Standing in line and paying money to see the filming location of A Christmas Carol shouldn’t be one of them. The movie may be great, but the simple house it was filmed in and the museum dedicated to it are not a reason to stop your car.

But who can resist stopping and looking at the “Major Award” in the window? And if a quick stroll through the house isn’t enough, you can make reservations and spend the night in this iconic home. There’s also a gift shop where you can purchase your own leg lamp and more memorabilia from this holiday classic. So is it really the worst tourist trap in Ohio? It’s definitely worth a trip to see it for yourself.
