City asks for public participation in CDBG and HOME’s annual action plan

The City is seeking public comment and participation on the proposed annual action plan for programs funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

The city must prepare an annual action plan to receive Community Development Block Grant and Home Investment Partnerships Program funds from HUD.

City approves CDBG funds for pool lifts in water park

The proposed plan is available during regular business hours at the Great Falls Public Library and the City Planning Office in the Civic Center.

It is also available on the city’s website.

The 30-day comment period begins on July 5 and ends on August 5 and is open to any interested agency, group or individual.

City commissioners will hold a public hearing on HUD program needs on July 16, during which residents, businesses and nonprofits can voice needs or concerns to be addressed in the annual action plan.

City approves contract and CDBG funds for road rehabilitation project

The eligible needs identified during the hearing and the comments submitted will be incorporated into the draft plan, which will be presented to the Commissioners for consideration on August 16.
