NHL announces Utah Hockey Club season schedule

SALT LAKE CITY – The NHL released its full 2024-25 schedule on Tuesday, and fans of the Utah Hockey Club now know what the team’s inaugural season looks like.

Utah will open its season on Tuesday, October 8 against the Chicago Blackhawks at the Delta Center.

After the home opener, Utah will hit the road for four games. On this trip, the Anaheim Ducks, New York Islanders and New York Rangers will host the league’s newest franchise for their home openers.

Utah HC will conclude a busy 11-game month in October with five home games in six games.

Notable matchups during this time were Boston on Saturday, October 19th, and Colorado on Thursday, October 24th.

Utah HC’s first game of November will be on the road against the Las Vegas Golden Knights on Saturday, November 2. After three more road games, Utah returns home to face Carolina, Vegas and Washington.

The three home games culminate in a phase in which Utah plays seven of nine games away.

During the week before Christmas, Utah HC will play three home games. After hosting the Avalanche on Friday, December 27, they will play four straight away games before returning home to host the defending Stanley Cup champions Florida Panthers on Wednesday, January 8.

The game against Florida will be the first of seven consecutive home games.
