Alia Yachts’ 53m Sea Club launched

Alia Yachts has launched the Sea Club 53, a 53-metre fully bespoke superyacht designed for the ultimate in toy and tender transport. Launched in Antalya, Turkey, this new vessel is scheduled to undergo final outfitting and sea trials ahead of delivery in August. Designed to be highly capable and flexible in the sub-500 GT size class, the Sea Club 53 features a fully certified H-145 helideck and offers extensive storage for a dive boat, 13m tender, 8m crew tender, two sailing catamarans, two dinghies, two waverunners, and various other water sports equipment and toys. The yacht accommodates six guests in three cabins, including a master cabin, with additional luxurious amenities. “The Sea Club 53 showcases the best of what we can do here at Alia Yachts,” said President Gökhan Çelik. “We are thrilled to see her in the water, where she will demonstrate her full potential for comfortable operation at speeds of up to 15 knots.” It is a testament to our expert technical, engineering and boatbuilding teams here at Alia, as well as the close collaboration we had with Azure Yacht Design to develop the exterior design and layout, and with Diana Yacht Design for the naval architecture underlying the hull. The Sea Club 53 was built ambitiously and quickly. Thanks to an excellent relationship with the owner’s team at Technical Marine UK and quick thinking on our part, we took the project from dream to floating reality in just over two years.” Built entirely in-house, the yacht was designed for an owner who wanted a combination of the fun of a chase boat and the finish and style of a superyacht. The Sea Club 53 is designed for watersports, underwater exploration and helicopter operations, but at the same time offers all the luxury expected of a modern superyacht. The yacht offers first-class accommodation and large outdoor deck areas suitable for social gatherings. Composed of three parts – hull, superstructure and helideck – the yacht was assembled in late 2022. It features 50 square metres of storage space for toys on the lower deck and its own water sports centre, which includes more than 20 modular water park elements for varied daily setups. “The launch of the Sea Club project marks the beginning of a completely new concept in the yachting industry,” said Onne Logger of Azure Yacht Design. “A unique combination of luxurious guest accommodation, huge storage space for tenders and toys and an unprecedented number of entertainment options.” The owner’s aim was to incorporate the storage and entertainment facilities normally found on a vessel over 80 m long, while maintaining the classy and elegant look of a superyacht. The successful realisation of the Sea Club 53 is thanks to the collaboration between the owner, Alia Yachts, Azure Yacht Design, Diana Yacht Design and Technical Marine UK. Alia Yachts was founded in 2008 by Gokhan Çelik and Omer Koray. Located in the port of Antalya on the beautiful Turkish Riviera, Alia Yachts’ shipyard currently covers approximately 8,000 m2, including three construction halls with their suites of specialized workshops and a dedicated interior fit-out facility. With a further 16,000 m2 planned for 2019, Alia Yachts will be one of the best facilities in the region. Credits: Alia Yachts
