Joseph Quinn actually met Taylor Swift once. However, it was a moment the actor will never forget. The “Stanger Things” star recently recalled a hilarious moment and conversation he had with the “I Knew You Were Trouble” singer.

Everyone always remembers the time when they got into an embarrassing situation. A similar event happened to the actor from “Fantastic Four” when he met Taylor Swift.

During his appearance on the “Happy Sad Confused” podcast, Joseph Quinn talked about how he got into an embarrassing situation with the “Cruel Summer” hitmaker.

In the Monday, July 1, podcast episode, Quinn mentioned, “I met Taylor Swift once and said, ‘You’re Taylor Swift.’ She was very funny.”

Continuing to talk about his meeting with the lover pop star, the Gladiator 2 star explained to host Josh Horowitz that Taylor Swift said “something nice” about his Netflix show Stranger Things.

Quinn remembered him replying, “Oh, thank you. You’re Taylor Swift. I mean that as a compliment.”

Host Josh Horowitz also burst out laughing when he heard about the incident. The “A Quiet Place: Day One” star said he still remembers the moment and called it “f***ing stupid.”

He then also explained that the You Belong With Me singer had a great sense of humor during the time they were dating. After the discussion during the show, Horowitz asked Quinn if he was still in touch with Taylor Swift and if they were “on good terms now.”

In response to this question, Quinn explained that he has a great and excellent relationship with the singer of “Look What You Made Me Do”.

The actor did not disclose when this meeting took place.

Joseph Quinn’s future projects

It looks like Joseph Quinn is interested in returning to Stanger Things. Although his character Eddie Munson was killed off in the same season he was introduced, Quinn mentioned to Entertainment Tonight that the chances of his return to the series are high.

The actress is now also being linked to Marvel Studios as she will be seen in the role of the Human Torch in The Fantastic Four. The photos from Gladiator 2 also show him in a never-before-seen look.

Regarding his Marvel character, Joseph Quinn told PEOPLE that Lupita Nyong’o, his co-star in the recent horror film “A Quiet Place: Day One,” helped him prepare.
