Exciting filming of the movie “Thursday Murder Club”

The Thursday Murder Club The film has officially started and Richard Osman is as excited as you are.

Filming on the long-awaited adaptation of the bestselling series began last Thursday (June 27), but we had to wait until today (July 2) to get our first set photo, courtesy of Osman himself.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first look at the cast in action, but he did share a photo of Helen Mirren’s chair on set, so that’s something.

“Oh it’s HAPPENING,” Osman wrote in the post shared on his Twitter account. We can only hope this is the first of many sneak peeks from the set, as filming continues from now until September.

The Thursday Murder Club In “The Movie,” Helen Mirren, Celia Imrie, Pierce Brosnan and Sir Ben Kingsley form the titular crime-solving team as the former spy Elizabeth, the former nurse Joyce, the union official Ron and the psychiatrist Ibrahim.

They are joined by an exciting supporting cast including David Tennant, Naomi Ackie, Jonathan Pryce, Danny Mays and Henry Lloyd-Hughes.

We know that Ackie plays police officer Donna and Pryce plays Elizabeth’s husband Stephen, but the other roles are being kept secret.

Now that filming has begun, we may not have to wait long for further casting confirmation or information on who is playing each role.

We are still waiting for a confirmed release date for the film, but we know that The Thursday Murder Club is released by Netflix.

“I am so proud of this book, it is a dream to see The Thursday Murder Club in such incredible hands. From Chris Columbus to Amblin to Netflix, everywhere I look there are geniuses. And what a cast. I’m pinching myself,” Osman said.

Osman also confirmed that the film will be released in theaters. When asked by a fan if he could watch the film without Netflix, Osman replied: “It will be released in theaters too.”

The Thursday Murder Club has no confirmed release date yet.
