Vision Volleyball Club of San Jose is excited to announce its expansion. Vision South, our new division, will serve Gilroy, Hollister, Salinas, Monterey and beyond. Vision South will host summer camps throughout July and will field teams for the inaugural 2024/2025 season.

Founded in 1997 in Los Gatos, California, the Vision Volleyball Club has a long tradition of excellence. Each year Vision dominates the NCVA (Northern California Volleyball Association) region in every age division and each year several Vision teams qualify for the USA Volleyball Junior National Championships. In 2022, Vision was ranked 42nd in the nation.

Lisa Becerra will serve as the Director for Vision South. Lisa has over 20 years of combined coaching experience at the high school and club levels. As head coach at St. Ignatius College Preparatory, Lisa led the team to its first-ever CCS championship in 2010 and was named “Coach of the Year” by the San Francisco Examiner. More recently, Lisa served as an assistant coach at Archbishop Mitty when the Monarchs won three consecutive CIF state championships in dominating fashion from 2015-2017. A native of Santa Cruz, Lisa was a first-team starter and All-League player for four years at Aptos High. In 2000, Lisa’s club team won a gold medal at the USA Volleyball Junior National Championships in the open division. In her final season, she was named SCCAL MVP before playing at Georgia State and earning the Atlantic Sun Conference Freshman of the Year award. Lisa is currently the head coach at Hollister High School, where she lives with her husband and three children.

Vision South’s coaching staff includes current college coaches as well as former college players and current high school coaches who bring a wealth of knowledge and commitment to excellence.
