At the end of the month (July 26), New York rapper Ice Spice will release her highly anticipated debut album “Y2K.” Little is known about the album so far and the rapper has not yet released a track list. However, Spice revealed in January that a “crazy” collaboration had been agreed upon for the album.

Speak with Entertainment tonight At the 2024 BET Awards, Ice Spice was asked about the album’s guest appearances. The rapper declined to reveal who will be featured on the album, but confirmed that it will feature “a few” collaborations.

ET went on to specifically mention Taylor Swift, asking if Spice would “return the favor” after Swift invited the New York rapper to contribute a remix of “Karma.” “I think she did me the favor,” Spice replied, suggesting that Swift helped expose the rapper to a wider audience.

Ice Spice shyly added about a possible collaboration with Taylor Swift on “Y2K,” “I don’t know, we’ll see, we’ll see.”

Ice Spice has also announced European and North American tour dates in support of “Y2K.” In July, the rapper will travel across Europe and perform at a number of festivals including Roskilde, Open’er, Wireless and more.

Later in July, she returns to North America, where she begins a series of headlining shows through the end of August, supported by Cash Cobain. Fans can buy and sell tickets for Ice Spice on the global marketplace viagogo.

“Y2K” follows the Bronx rapper’s January 2023 EP “Like..?”, which included viral hits like “Munch (Feelin’ U)” and “In Ha Mood.” NME awarded this release four stars, with Thomas Smith praising Ice Spice’s sarcastic delivery and level-headed confidence.

“Ice Spice still has a long way to go, and surviving the period after her viral breakthrough seems crucial: longevity seems achievable, but casual listeners and even some fans remain fickle,” Smith wrote. “On ‘Like…?’ she doesn’t seem to care about chasing influence or fans – she knows they’ll come around eventually anyway.”
