BBC had to pause the show “Chris and Rosie Ramsey Show”

The BBC has reportedly “paused” the broadcast of the “Chris and Rosie Ramsey Show”.

The comedy talk show hosted by the couple – in which the married couple discuss their relationship alongside another celebrity couple – was initially broadcast on BBC Two in 2022 and then upgraded to BBC One. However, due to a scheduling conflict, fans will have to wait for a third season.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “The BBC absolutely loves Chris and Rosie. They are an incredibly entertaining duo but most importantly, genuine.”

“They would like to continue producing ‘The Chris and Rosie Ramsey Show’ for audiences, but due to scheduling conflicts it is not possible at this time.

“Although the show is currently on hiatus, behind the scenes the BBC continues to explore opportunities to continue the show with Avalon (the show’s production company).”

One possible measure proposed is to change the filming and broadcasting schedules.

The “S******, Married, Annoyed” podcasters claimed there was “no secret” to their success in their professional and personal lives other than “having fun.”

Chris previously told Anita Rani on BBC Woman’s Hour on BBC Radio 4: “There is no secret in our marriage.”

Rosie added: “We laugh and that makes life a little more pleasant, doesn’t it?”

Chris continued, “In day-to-day life, from raising kids to the podcast to the TV show, as long as we make each other laugh, I feel like it’s been a success.”

Rosie said, “And you don’t always have to laugh at each other. Watch something funny. Laugh together. Or laugh at each other’s misfortune.”

The former star of “Parenting for Idiots” also advised allowing “the everyday” in love.

She said: “It’s very exciting when you first get together, isn’t it? But then, as life goes on, it becomes a bit banal. Actually, I quite like the banal.

“It’s very pleasant. I like that we have this life. We come home, drink tea together and watch TV.”
