InGroup International recently announced the appointment of Ruben Perez, a highly respected cruise industry expert, as an external consultant. This strategic partnership is designed to strengthen the company’s leadership position in the cruise and travel sector.

Ruben Perez’ outstanding career

Ruben Perez has been associated with Costa Cruise Lines, a subsidiary of Carnival Corporation, for over 40 years. Throughout his career, he has focused on improving service quality, operational efficiency and profitability. From 2011 to 2024, Perez served as CEO of Costa Cruise Lines, where he oversaw all business operations and ensured smooth day-to-day operations. His extensive experience includes representing Costa at the Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) for over a decade. The FCCA is a nonprofit trade organization comprised of 23 member cruise lines that works with governments, ports and the private sector to optimize service in the cruise industry.
