Watch Stevie Nicks cry during Taylor Swift’s emotional performance

Stevie Nicks was present at Taylor Swift‘S Show in Dublin on Sunday evening (June 30) and was visibly moved during a performance of “You’re on Your Own, Kid”. Fans have Fleetwood Mac Star wiped tears from her eyes as Swift sang.

“You’re on Your Own, Kid” is an emotional song for Nicks. Last year, the iconic singer-songwriter thanked Swift for writing the midnight Track during a solo show and shared that it helped her grieve Death of her Fleetwood Mac bandmate Christine McVie.

“Thank you to Taylor Swift for doing that for me, writing a song called ‘You’re On Your Own, Kid.’ That’s how sad I feel,” Nicks said at the time. “As long as Chris was there, even on the other side of the world. We didn’t have to talk on the phone, we weren’t really phone buddies. Then we went back to Fleetwood Mac, walked in and it was like, ‘Little sister, how are you?’ It was like in all our 47 years, not a minute had passed, not a single argument.”

“So when there were two of us, we were both on our own, kids, we always were,” she continued. “And now I have to learn to be on my own, kid, all alone. So you help me with that. Thank you.”

Swift also made her live debut The “Tortured Poets” section Track “Clara Bow” and dedicated it to Nicks, the mentioned in the song.

“I’ve never played this song live before,” Swift told the audience. “The reason I want to play it tonight is because a friend of mine is here watching the show. She’s really one of the reasons why I or other female artists can do what I can do.”

“She’s paved the way for us and mentored so many artists that you don’t even know she’s doing it. She’s befriended so many artists just to be a guide for them, and I can’t tell you how rare that is. She’s a hero to me and also someone I could tell any secret that she would never tell anyone else. She’s really helped me through so much over the years. I’m talking about Stevie Nicks.”
