Simone Biles travels to the Olympic Games in Paris, Taylor Swift reacts

Paris (Taylor’s version) is not ready for Simone Biles. She secured her spot on the U.S. women’s gymnastics team for the third time over the weekend after competing in the Olympic trials, and will travel to France for the Summer Olympics. She performed her floor routine to Taylor Swift’s “Ready For It,” with Swift supporting her from across the pond. “Watched this so many times and I’m still not ready. But she’s ready for it,” Swift responded to a video of the performance. Swift has been very supportive of Biles over the years; she paid tribute to her during the Summer Olympics in Tokyo when she was under scrutiny following her retirement from competition.

Biles and her teammates Suni Lee, Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey and Hezly Rivera will travel to Paris later this month to compete for the Gold Rush. Perhaps that will be enough of a push for Swift to announce Call (Taylor’s Version); Team USA could use some new pump-up tracks. In the meantime, hopefully they can find inspiration in Tortured poets Songs for their future performances; is anyone interested in “I Can Do It With A Broken Heart”?
