Taylor Swift’s famous fashion is on display at the Victoria and Albert Museum

Check out Taylor Swift’s career start again from the beginning at a new exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

The temporary exhibition – called Songbook Trail — will be open from July 27 to September 8 and will feature 16 outfits the 34-year-old singer-songwriter has worn throughout her career.

A press release from the museum states that the exhibition is organized in honor of Swift’s successful UK Eras tour and aims to “celebrate the creativity of her costumes, lyrics and music videos and explore the global phenomena of the pop icon.”

The “Shake It Off” singer wrapped up the first three star-studded London stops of her Eras tour at Wembley Stadium on June 23, but will return for five more shows on August 15.

In addition to costumes, the exhibition will also feature Swift’s instruments, music awards, storyboards and archival materials – many of which are being shown to the public for the first time, according to the museum.

The exhibition will include “13 stations” – a reference to the singer’s lucky number – each of which will shed light on “a particular era of her music and prolific songwriting.”

Costume pieces on display include Swift’s custom cowboy boots, which she wore when she opened for Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s 2007 Soul2Soul tour, and her Victorian-inspired black dress from her “Fortnight” music video. Photos provided by the museum also show her blue, purple and pink glittery jacket and purple skirt from her 1989 world tour in 2015 and her white lace dress from her music video “Willow”.

Kate Bailey, senior curator of theatre and performance at the V&A, said in a statement: “We are delighted to present a series of iconic looks from Taylor Swift at the V&A this summer, each celebrating a chapter of the artist’s musical journey. Taylor Swift’s songs tell stories like objects, often drawing on art, history and literature.”

Bailey continued: “We hope that this theatrical journey through the museum will encourage curious visitors to learn more about the performer, her creativity and the V&A objects.”

Although Swift left some of her most prized possessions behind in London, her stay in Dublin, where she performed with her tour from June 28 to 30, was an eventful time.

At the last stop of her career, in the section with the surprise songs, she dedicated the song “Clara Bow” from the album “The Tortured Poets Department” to 76-year-old Fleetwood Mac legend Stevie Nicks.

“She is one of my heroes and also someone to whom I can reveal any secret that she would never tell anyone else,” Swift said while introducing the song. “She really has helped me through so much over the years. I’m talking about Stevie Nicks.”
