Crazy Town’s Shifty Shellshock’s family talks about the singer’s death

The family of the deceased singer made an emotional statement to The sun on Saturday.

“For Seth, the world was art – he loved every part of it, from music and fashion to graffiti, skateboarding and his hometown of Los Angeles,” the family statement said.

The “Butterfly” singer, whose real name is Seth Binzer, leaves behind his three sons – Halo, Gage and Phoenix – who his family says were “his greatest achievements”.

“He loved his three boys more than anything and his devotion to his music and his fans never waned,” the statement continued.

The singer had spoken openly about his struggle with addiction and his path to sobriety, which led to his unexpected death. His former manager, Howie Hubberman, said People The cause of death was “a combination of prescription drugs and drugs bought on the street,” and he said: “We all tried, but in the end we all failed, otherwise Shifty would still be here.”

“Seth struggled with addiction his entire life, and he did so on a very public platform, which was especially challenging,” the family statement said. “God knows he tried so hard to conquer his demons, but unfortunately he lost his battle.”

His ex-girlfriend Soleil Moon Frye also recently spoke about the singer’s death in an Instagram post with sweet pictures of the two.

“My heart whispers ‘I love you’ a million times for the way you loved my children and me so unconditionally,” she wrote next to a carousel of pictures of their relationship on Instagram. “I can still see your smiling, sweet face when you kissed me in your tunnel of love in middle school, and how you swept me away again as we got older to show me what that timeless kind of love felt like.”

“No words could ever express the love we shared or how we feel right now. It’s a language all its own,” Frye continued in her tribute. “So now I’m going to use every bit of strength you showed me to hold on to the words you asked me in your beautiful, morning, raspy voice on the beach as you showered me with kisses.”

In addition to being a co-founder of Crazy Town, he also ventured into other roles in the music industry such as songwriting, production and sound mixing. He previously described music as his form of “therapy” in Punk Rock MBA Podcast.

His friend and abstinence coach, who helped him with his abstinence, also opened up TMZ about Binzer’s death, saying, “Seth was loved by many, many people, especially in the recovery community and the music world. He had a heart of gold and gave back.”
