FFA CAMP…Taylor had the opportunity to meet the 2024-2025 State Officer Team. She enjoyed talking with them and getting to know them during her time at camp!

(PRESS RELEASE) – In late June, FFA member Taylor Johnson attended Ohio FFA Camp Session 2.5 and the Ohio Leadership Camp at FFA Camp in Muskingum, Ohio.

During his stay, Taylor attended meetings led by national FFA moderators and spent time meeting new people from all over the state.

During her time at camp, she participated in problem-solving activities, selection activities, and group games. She had the opportunity to meet the Ohio FFA State Officers and learn valuable life lessons that will prepare her for the future.

The two camps were different in many ways. The 2.5 FFA camp session was an abbreviated general summer camp for three days. She had the opportunity to participate in team building activities, chapter activities, and campfires.

She also had the opportunity to participate in general camp activities such as a scavenger hunt, kayaking, and water games. Leadership camp allowed Taylor to identify her strengths and how her community could benefit.

She developed a community action plan to support her community in the future. The leadership camp provided time for self-reflection activities as well as opportunities to share thoughts with others.

Taylor said her “favorite part was making new friends, meeting new people, and talking to the state officials.” Taylor also mentioned that one of her biggest takeaways from the experience was “pushing herself to try new things that can impact her future.”

Overall, Taylor really enjoyed her time at camp and highly recommends FFA camp to any FFA member looking to grow personally, make new friends, and create unforgettable memories!
