Bailey Zimmerman‘s country and rock roots shine in “New in the country.”
The anthemic track, co-written by Bailey, features lyrics that showcase Bailey’s upbringing and show that he is, in fact, “anything but a newbie to country music.”
“He got tattoos, he don’t mean anything good/Yeah, that’s all anyone ever said about me/And yeah, I like to let loose and smoke too/You might think I chose this lifestyle/No, but he chose me/You can hear me coming with a 6.2 growl/ Guns N’ Roses “I’m pushing through a 12 in the ground/ I don’t need anything but a place in the country/ I smile when they say I’m not me anymore,” says the first verse.
Bailey’s latest releases include his new single, “Holy smoke,” And “Hell or high water” of the upcoming Twisters: The Album.
