Drivers could benefit from a $3.75 million settlement with TransAm Trucking that resolves allegations that the company failed to pay wages required by federal law.
The settlement benefits individuals who attended the TransAm Trucking orientation in Rockwall, Texas, or Tampa, Florida, between October 2020 and March 2021.
Plaintiffs in the class action lawsuit claim that TransAm Trucking failed to fairly compensate drivers under state and federal wage laws. The trucking company allegedly failed to pay drivers for orientation and training time, forcing them to work several days without pay.

TransAm Trucking has not admitted wrongdoing but has agreed to pay $3.75 million to settle the class action lawsuit under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
