Interaction and constructive action – Tehran Times

TEHRAN – Donya-e-Eqtesad devoted its editorial to the main axis of the 14th government’s foreign policy and wrote: Iran’s foreign policy under the Raisi government was based on signs of resistance to strategic actions towards the major powers and the United States, but the fact is that in this era, more than under any other government in the past years, mechanisms of secret diplomacy based on mechanisms of public diplomacy were used.

Given Iran’s strategic location, any interaction with the United States will be based on the premise of power. In the current situation, supporting the military, security and strategic institutions of established governments is one of the main factors in seeking a role in cooperation and secret diplomacy in regional environments. In a situation where Iran and many other countries in the region are facing signs of crises and threats, it is natural for the country’s foreign policy and national security actors to use the main axis of their behavior based on cooperative role-finding and flexible action to maximize national interests.

Iran: Canada is against Iran’s national security

In an analysis, the Iranian newspaper discussed Canada’s anti-Iranian policy, saying: The Canadian government, with its recent actions against Iran, has prevented our country from holding presidential elections in this country. In recent years, the Canadian government, accusing the Islamic Republic of Iran of human rights violations, has claimed the right to directly interfere in Iran’s internal affairs. Canada’s far-reaching efforts against Iran began several years ago, and Justin Trudeau in particular has taken the lead. This shows that Canada has taken on the task of advancing part of the anti-Iranian project on behalf of the Zionist regime and Western circles. Applying chain sanctions, supporting opposition groups, and harboring economic corruptors who fled Iran, which are clear examples of interference in Iran’s internal affairs, are the tasks assigned to Canada in this direction to overthrow Iran’s Islamic regime.

Ham Mihan: Elections in Iran and relations between Tehran and Russia

In a note, Ham Mihan discussed Iran-Russia relations after the Iranian elections, writing: “Currently, relations between Iran and Russia do not seem to have changed. The main presidential candidates have sent the message that their foreign policy priority is to reduce sanctions, improve the economic situation, and build a special relationship with Moscow. Slowing down the momentum of improving relations with Russia is not that difficult. But if at any point the Iranian leader sees a need for this due to the interests of the system, he will change the course of Iran’s relations with Russia. Two factors may influence his decision: the sanctions and the deteriorating economic situation. Given the climate of Iranian foreign policy and the fact that there is no positive tendency towards Iran’s reconciliation with its enemies, the change in relations between Tehran and Moscow is likely to be gradual. Experience has shown that Iran quickly recognizes the unfortunate realities of its relations with the West and turns again to Moscow.” In conclusion, it is not possible for relations between Russia and Iran to change immediately and profoundly. However, if the new president manages to start the process of lifting sanctions, the current form of relations will disappear in the medium term.

Hamshahri: The failure of Western saboteurs against the elections in Iran

In an article, Hamshahri addressed the enemy’s attempt to destroy the integrity of the Iranian elections. It states: “Although the final result of the 14th President of Iran was postponed to the second round of the elections, the results of the first round of these elections have refuted some fake controversies about the integrity of the Iranian electoral mechanism.” Western and sabotage media in particular have made predictions against the Iranian electoral mechanism and questioned the election results. One of the projects emphasized the victory of a certain candidate by the Western media. The targeted lines against the Iranian elections among Western media and saboteurs were associated with specific goals, such as questioning the mechanism of competitive elections in Iran, denying the integrity of voting in the branches, and deterring citizens from participating in the elections. However, the results of the first round proved the nullification of all Western and sabotage atmosphere against the Iranian electoral mechanism.
