Ice Spice avoids rumors about a performance with Taylor Swift

Ice Spice has fans wondering about a possible collaboration with Taylor Swift on her upcoming debut album. Year 2000.

The rap sensation, known for hits like “Boy’s a Liar,” recently hinted at a possible collaboration with the pop superstar, referencing her remix of Swift’s song “Karma” last May. When asked for details about Swift’s involvement in her new album — due out July 26 — Spice remained tight-lipped, but joked that there are indeed “a few” collaborations in the works.

“There are a few (collaborations) – that’s all I can say. More than one,” she cryptically commented to “Entertainment Tonight” at the BET Awards, which took place on June 30 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

“I think she did me the favor, but I don’t know, we’ll see, we’ll see,” Ice Spice replied shyly when asked if Swiftr returned the favor.

The star also revealed the valuable advice Swift gave her and remembered their time together in the studio.

“When I was in the studio with Taylor, I’ll never forget it. She told me, ‘No matter what happens, just keep making music and everything will be fine,'” Spice told Billboard.

“I thought, ‘You’re getting involved in my project?’ What?” she joked in an interview with The guard“She’s so sweet – I was so fascinated by how humble and hardworking she was. She gives me so much advice; we talk all the time and she’s so funny… But I can’t say what she’s telling me,” Spice, who is known for her outspoken demeanor, previously said of the specific advice Swift has given her.

Spice’s playful avoidance of direct answers continues to fuel speculation among fans eagerly awaiting the release of her album.
