The makers of Kamal Haasan’s upcoming film Indian 2 released a new song on Monday, much to the delight of fans. Titled ‘Calendar Song’, it is a lively, catchy number that is sure to keep the audience hooked.
The Calendar Song is a lively addition to the soundtrack of Indian 2. Like most Shankar songs, this one too is lavishly produced and features Demi-Leigh Tebow, Miss Universe 2017. The song is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, sung by SUVI and Aishwarya Suresh and written by Kabilan Vairamuthu.

Indian 2 is one of the most ambitious projects in Kamal Haasan’s illustrious career. In the vigilante thriller directed by successful director S. Shankar, Haasan reprises the role of Senapathy, an aged freedom fighter who fights against corruption. Indian 2 is a sequel to the 1996 classic Indian, which was India’s Oscar nominee.
The film features an impressive cast including Rakul Preet Singh, Siddharth, SJ Suryah, Bobby Simha, Brahmanandam, Samuthirakani, Gulshan Grover and the late Manobala and Vivek. Kamal Haasan’s appearance as Senapathy in the trailer has already created considerable anticipation.

Slated to release on July 12, Indian 2 is Kamal Haasan’s first release after the Prabhas-directed Kalki 2898 AD, which hit the theatres on June 27. As the release date approaches, the excitement around Indian 2 is building and the ‘Calendar Song’ is adding to the excitement.
