Man wins 0,000 on scratch card game

A Lake County man said winning a $300,000 instant prize on the Top Secret Cashword instant game was “the best feeling in the world!”

The lucky 80-year-old player, who wished to remain anonymous, purchased his winning ticket at the Wolf Lake Store, 1254 North M-37 in Baldwin. Baldwin is located about 30 miles east of Ludington.

“I used to only play drawing games, but recently I switched to playing instant games instead,” the player said. “About a week and a half after I switched to instant games, I bought this ticket.”

“I scratched off the ticket at home and when the tenth word came out I thought, ‘That can’t be.’ I looked at the ticket three times and then gave it to my daughter to look through. She looked at it and said, ‘Dad, you’ve won the jackpot!’

“I still couldn’t believe it and took it to the store to have it scanned. That’s when I slowly realized that I had really won. Winning a $300,000 lottery prize is the best feeling in the world!”

The lucky player recently visited lottery headquarters to claim his big prize. He plans to use his winnings to pay off his house and complete some home improvement projects.
