GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY star Chris Pratt still wants to join the DCU as long as it “makes sense”

Chris Pratt is best known for his role as Star-Lord in Protector of the Galaxy Franchise, but he could soon become one of only a handful of actors to be part of both the Marvel And DC Universes?

There are certainly plenty of DCU characters that the actor could bring to life under DC Studios’ supervision. It’s also worth noting that James Gunn has repeatedly expressed interest in bringing some of the Marvel actors he’s worked with before to join the cast of the upcoming Chapter 1: Gods and Monsters films and TV shows.

TMZ recently cornered Pratt (on the street, because, well, it’s TMZ) and asked the actor if he was any closer to joining the DCU.

“Well, there’s always the possibility. But of course I couldn’t ruin my relationship with you here on the sidewalk. I could, but I’d rather not.” he teased before being asked who he would like to play. “Man, I have to leave that up to the fans and people like James. I’m not entirely sure. I’m really not sure.”

When asked if he would be interested in working with DC Studios, Pratt replied: “Yes, of course, if it fits my schedule and makes sense. Of course, I love playing Star-Lord, so hopefully there’s a chance it could happen again. I just feel so blessed to be able to be involved and be considered for any of this.”

Finally, the website wondered if Pratt would be interested in working with his father-in-law Arnold Schwarzenegger and suggested they could collaborate on a future Terminator Project.

“Oh man, that would be pretty awesome, wouldn’t it? Do you think people would lose their minds? Wow,” said the actor. “Great! Okay! I’m in, I’ll sign up!”

Although we don’t expect that to happen (Schwarzenegger was pretty adamant that he’s done with Terminator), Pratt’s move to the DCU seems inevitable. Booster Gold remains a popular casting suggestion among fans, although there are plenty of heroes – or villains – he could play.

Some time ago, Gunn said that a Marvel/DC crossover was “more likely now that I’m in charge” Add: “But that’s still many years away. I think we need to decide what we’re doing (at DC) first. I’d be lying if I said we haven’t talked about it. But all the discussions have been very, very relaxed and fun.”

We also recently learned that Gunn is in talks with Pratt’s Guardian Co-star Pom Klementieff plays a “certain character” in the DCU, according to the actress.

Who do you think Pratt could play in the DCU?
