Aidan Chiles of MSU and Alex Orji of Michigan join forces to support the community

DETROIT. (WILX) – On Sunday afternoon, two rivals came together to give back to the community. Michigan State quarterback Aidan Chiles and Michigan quarterback Alex Orji hosted the I AM Quarterback Youth Development Camp in Detroit.

Aidan is entering his sophomore season and will have his first chance to play as a starting quarterback for MSU this fall. Chiles has been extremely active in the community in the short time he has lived in Michigan. One of the teammates he has become very close with is freshman wide receiver Nick Marsh. The two called each other twins and were both at camp together to support the same cause.

Orji is currently in the midst of a battle for the starting quarterback position at Michigan and has been working hard to prove himself to the new coaching staff. Alex went through drills with kids on Sunday that he does to work on his skills. Regardless of whether Orji gets the job or not, it’s expected that the Wolverines will still use him for points since he’s such a dangerous football runner. Although these two teams are coming together for a good cause, the competition on the field will remain the same.

“We want to beat them 50-0,” Orji said.

On October 26th, Michigan and MSU, the two newly formed football teams, will face off.
