Taylor Swift’s stage mistake in “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived”

Taylor Swift’s stage mistake in “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived”

At the beginning of “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived” during Saturday’s show in Dublin, the performance on Taylor Swift’s stage did not go as planned.

When the pop icon sang the first lines of the song by The “Tortured Poets” section — “Was any of that true/ Staring at me with shining eyes/ In your witness suit/ Who the hell was that guy?” — Concertgoers noticed that the stage was malfunctioning. The raised section Swift was standing on hadn’t lowered as intended, leaving her standing helpless for a moment.

Swift didn’t let the breakdown bother him.

Fortunately, she did not have to wait long before one of her dancers, Jan Ravnik, came to her aid and helped her climb down.

In a close-up video of Swifts Tortured poets A fan posted the concert clip. It looks and sounds like the pop star is trying to hold back his laughter while Ravnik offers to help.

The show must go on, and that’s what Swift’s three-and-a-half-hour show did.

Swift’s international Eras Tour visited Dublin’s Aviva Stadium for three dates this weekend. She will next continue the tour for three dates at Amsterdam’s Johan Cruijff Arena from July 4-6.

On Sunday, Billboard announced Swift’s The “Tortured Poets” section remains at number one on the Billboard 200 album charts for the tenth consecutive week and overall.

At this point, Swift has performed most of the 31-track collection live at least once on The Eras Tour. Tortured poets The segment of the show includes “But Daddy I Love Him,” a small sample of “So High School,” “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?” and “Down Bad,” which leads into “Fortnight.” It closes with “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived” (usually with a working stage) and “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.”

Other tracks from the album made their live debut during Swift’s acoustic segment, where she offers two surprise song performances. This weekend’s premieres included “The Albatross” on Saturday and “Clara Bow” on Sunday for Stevie Nicks, who was in the VIP tent filming Swift’s song with her phone.
