Mobile thieves: Mobile thieves strike twice in the city | News from Chandigarh

Chandigarh: Thieves targeted two persons and snatched their mobile phones. Police have registered separate cases against unidentified persons. In his complaint, Ritik, 15, a resident of Burail, Sector 45, claims that he was returning home on his bicycle when two persons on motorcycles approached him from behind and sped away after snatching a mobile phone from his hand in Sector 33. The boy informed his parents about the incident and police about the robbery. In a separate incident, Pinki, a resident of Sector 38, was on the phone in a park when a miscreant approached him from behind and sped away after snatching her mobile phone. She later informed police on 112 about the incident. Sector 39 police recorded the statement of the complainant and registered a case against unidentified persons.
