Christian Nodal pours out his heart in his latest single.

On Thursday, June 6, the Mexican singer debuted a new song titled “Kbron y Medio” and released an accompanying music video in which Nodal – who announced his split from Cazzu in May – sings about heartbreak after cheating.

The dark music video begins with 25-year-old Nodal seemingly smoking and drinking away his sorrows while looking through old photos of his relationship.

“When I was burning good weed/After a few too many drinks/I thought/I wasn’t that bad,” he sings. “It can always end worse/I’ll do the best I can/As you can/Take it to heart.”

The video then switches to Nodal trying to distract his mind from the breakup by going to a strip club and vowing never to fall in love again.

“Maybe it’ll get better when I go out/And for love I’ll become that bastard/That never was/Wait, here I am,” he sings. “My kisses ain’t coming back/To be for one person/My bed is ready/To receive bitches.”

“If anyone tells you/That I’ve become a bastard/Tell them I’ve become a bastard and half a bastard,” he concludes.

“Kbron y Medio” is the first single Nodal releases from his upcoming studio album PAUL CORA.

“Love and heartbreak are the inspiration for the best songs, which are born from pure emotion. ‘Kbron y Medio’ tells the story that we have all gone through at some point in our lives or will go through in the future – what we can do when our hearts are broken,” said the “Adiós Amor” singer in a press release.

He added: “I hope you enjoy the lyrics and the performance as much as I do. And let’s drink a Don Julio tequila while we sing it at one of the shows on the tour soon.”

Nodal will begin PA’L CORA’s North American tour on September 11 in Seattle, Washington and conclude on November 10 in Baltimore, Maryland.

As for his split from singer and rapper Cazzu (born Julieta Emilia Cazzuchell), Nodal announced in a joint statement in May that they were going their separate ways.
