Madonna Kicked away Proud Celebrations in New York City towards the end of Pride Month on June 29th as headliner for LadyLand 2024a music festival that took place at Under The ‘K’ Bridge Park.

The 65-year-old musician was a judge on the second day of the queer music festival hosted by the nightclub chain Ladyfag, joining artists such as Arca, Tokischa, Sevdaliza and her Celebration Tour Presenter Bob, the drag queen.

She appeared on stage alongside several of her former collaborators as a big surprise of the festival and was only officially announced earlier this week after reports of her appearance emerged.

Madonna then served as a judge for a Vogue Ball House Battle, a tribute to the “Vogue” section of her acclaimed Celebration Tourflash several 10s for a vogueing competition.

Also along for the ride was her 11-year-old daughter Estere, who regularly took part in the tour. although she helped DJ a pre-Vogue set before showing off a few moves of her own. At the end of the day, Madonna thanked the crowd, saying, “Thank you, New York City. Without you, I am nothing.”

Madonna shared several photos from the thrilling set on her social networks. Two of her other daughters also came to support her, including Estere’s twin sister Stella and her eldest child, Lourdes Leon, 27.

“Divas on the dance floor please!!!” she captioned her performance. “Thank you to everyone who came out to support NYC Pride at @ladylandfestival!! Love you all so much!!!!!!”

The performance also comes just days after the singer won a major legal battle after being sued by two concertgoers for starting her show more than two hours after the scheduled start time of 8:30 p.m.

According to the lawsuit filed by Michael Fellows and Jonathan Hadden, which was also filed against Barclays Center and Live Nation over the December 13 show in New York City, the singer was accused of “false advertising, negligent misrepresentation, and unfair and deceptive business practices.”

They also claim that the late start time made it difficult for fans to “wake up early to go to work” the next day. Two more lawsuits were later filed against Madonna for the same reasons, one by an attendee at a show in Washington DC and another by an attendee in Los Angeles.

However, People reported that the plaintiffs sent a notice of “voluntary dismissal with prejudice” on June 19, effectively dropping the lawsuit. Madonna and Live Nation attorney Jeff Warshafsky also wrote a letter explaining that the dismissal was “not the result of a settlement.”

Earlier this month, TMZ reported that Madonna responded to the class action lawsuit by having her lawyers say that true fans know that her concerts often start later than advertised. She stressed that her shows usually started much later than the advertised time and lasted late into the night.

However, the singer herself did not comment publicly on the legal dispute even after it was concluded, but was active on social media and in public throughout the entire period.
