Dice release gripping single “This Is Not A Love Song” and announce debut album “Midnight Zoo”

Dice have been on our radar since we saw them at Splendour last year. After working our way through their catalogue over the last 12 months, we’re delighted to share the news that the WA band will be releasing their debut album on August 9th. You can pre-order or get the album here.

“We find our love for music through its authenticity. There is a certain beauty in creating music because it is the culmination of one’s own emotions, experiences and personality. Midnight Zoo is a window into our lives so far and the memories we made while producing the record,” says the band.

And that’s not all, they have released a shiny new single: “This Is Not A Love Song”, which harks back to the days of early 2000s indie rock, with a non-stop energy running through their veins, in the style of the Arctic Monkeys (I’m talking Favorite Worst Nightmare Era) Chorus.

“Although ‘This Is Not A Love Song’ sounds like a love song, we assure you it is not one (or is it?),” says the band. “Have you ever met someone and just thought ‘yes, this is the one’, but ended up feeling like a nervous schoolboy while they sat on a pedestal in your mind? This song tells the story of that so-called ‘love’.”
