Diana Taurasi And Caitlin Clark are two of the biggest names in NBA History. One is a rookie. The other is the league’s all-time leading scorer. That’s pretty crazy.

Despite their differences and all the (artificial) disputes between them, they are cordial.

There was a lot of talk about Taurasi and Clark before the season. The 21-year-old WNBA veteran made a comment about the transition of the best scorer in college basketball history to the pro level, which quickly turned into something much bigger than it had to be. Her warning to the incoming rookie class was blunt, but also entirely justified.

However, Taurasi made matters worse by insulting a new generation of fans while trying to settle her dispute with Clark.

To further the story, the three-time champion went out of her way to bully Nika Mühl last season and later christened another newcomer to the league with an icy look.

Later, cameras caught an exchange on the court in the second quarter. Whatever Taurasi said made Clark laugh.
