Travis Kelce reveals his favorite meal to cook for Taylor Swift on “Date Night”

Travis Kelce revealed that he is more than just the Chiefs’ star tight end – he is also a good cook and seems to love treating his special lady, pop sensation Taylor Swift, to home-cooked meals.

In a TikTok video that the former Bachelor Matt James spoke to the Kansas City Chiefs player on Tuesday, June 18, about his culinary preferences while attending his Kelce Jam 2024 music festival, which he hosted on Saturday, May 18.

During the conversation, Kelce first mentioned his favorite dish cooked by his mother, Donna Kelce – chicken soup took first place. “Chicken noodle soup, when I’m just not feeling so great,” the 34-year-old admitted.

When asked about a dish he likes to make on a date, Kelce thought for a moment before sharing a recent culinary accomplishment. “I just figured out how to make homemade pasta, like real pasta,” he said. Kelce then described the dish in more detail: “I guess just some pasta with some spicy lemon garlic and shrimp. Shrimp linguine.”

This sweet gesture has obviously garnered the appreciation of Swifties around the world, as the video received countless comments from fans who appreciated Kelce’s sincerity and enthusiasm for his pasta dish.

Comments included statements like, “He was proud 🥰,” “He’s so genuine 🥰 I love this!” and “Trav and Tay making pasta at home. Cutest thing ever wowoowow.” Another user mentioned that he must have learned it from Swift, saying, “You just know Tay taught him how to make pasta.🥹”

Despite his openness at the Kelce Jam, Kelce’s willingness to share details about his night out seemed to change at a recent press conference. When asked what he likes to cook with his pop star girlfriend, also 34, the NFL star was a bit more reserved.

“I respect that question, but I’m going to keep it to myself,” Kelce replied. He added, “I really enjoy cooking with her, so it’s something I prefer to keep private.”
