The last day of action has begun

Thousands of visitors came to the Ventura County Fairgrounds Friday and Saturday for action-packed days of skateboarding, BMX and Moto X. They stayed for the music and other performances.

Star reporters and photographers will be present at the event at the Ventura County Fairgrounds throughout the weekend.

• No parking at the X Games: Heading to the games? There’s no on-site parking this year, but free shuttles will take visitors from these locations in Ventura and Oxnard to the fairgrounds. Or visitors can beat the traffic and take the train, bus or bike.
• What changes can be expected: For the three days of skateboarding, BMX aerobatics and high-flying Moto X dirt bikes, the designers doubled the floor space.

The final day of the X Games in Ventura began with a bit of a fog, but it is expected to clear. Gates open at 9am and close at 4:30pm. There is a lot going on today, including breathtaking jumps in the Moto X High Air at 2:15pm.
