This is an action camera that normally costs $350 and is being slashed by a full $100 in price to hit the lowest price we’ve found on Amazon. For comparison, it now costs the same as the HERO11 Black Mini — some may prefer the one-button functionality here, but there’s no touchscreen or onboard mode button (everything is controlled via the app). Today’s deal is also being offered at Best Buy and B&H. The GoPro HERO 11 Black arrives with an updated feature set based on a similar form factor to last year. The 1/1.9-inch sensor delivers 27-megapixel photos with an 8:7 aspect ratio, as well as 10-bit color, SuperPhoto and HDR modes, but we haven’t even really touched on video resolution yet. You can shoot 5.3K video (“91% more resolution than 4K”) with a water-resistant lens cover, and record 2.7K240 video “that can be played back in 8x slow motion to capture details not seen at normal speeds.”
