Memphis LK announces new club track with Willaris. K – News

“This track came about on a Sunday afternoon when I was experimenting with ideas blaring through my laptop speakers,” explains Willaris. K. “I liked the loop so I sent it to Memphis, she added her angelic vocals and we made a full song out of it. I love hearing the emphasis of the Australian accent. I really enjoyed creating something that was outside the usual WK sound.”

“I love Jack’s music so much,” Memphis LK adds after receiving the loop. “I feel like we have a lot of similarities in terms of sounds and emotions in music, so collaborating was really enjoyable and easy.”

“‘Say’ was made for a close friend of mine who was going through a shitty time. Sometimes the hardest thing about a dark period is that when you’re so deep in the chaos, you have trouble understanding and expressing your feelings. So I basically just wanted to show her that I was there for her when she was going through that.”
