(MENAFN-UkrinForm) The number of injured has risen to 36 as a result of a rocket attack on Vilnius.

This was reported by the police of the Zaporizhia region in a telegram, Ukrinform reports.

“Information at 09:30: In the shelling of Vilnius on June 29, 43 people were injured, 7 of them were killed (3 men, 1 woman and 3 children). 36 people were injured, including 9 children,” the statement said.

Two multi-storey buildings and 12 business premises were damaged, 7 cars were destroyed.

There is a mobile reception centre where people can ask for help or report damage. Victims can also contact the local police station or call the hotline 102.

The utilities continue to operate.

It was previously reported that a day of mourning for the victims was declared in Vilnius on June 30. The rocket attack took place on June 29 at 17:40. The enemy fired rockets at the city center.
