NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 29, 2024) – Nashville Soccer Club lost 2-1 to league leaders Inter Miami CF in front of a sold-out crowd at GEODIS Park on Saturday night despite a goal from Hany Mukhtar, who became the sixth player in Major League Soccer history to record 100 goal involvements in four years.

Mukhtar Magic: With his goal in the 73rdrd In the 10th minute, Hany Mukhtar, Nashville SC’s all-time leading scorer and first Designated Player, became only the sixth player in MLS history to record 100 goal involvements (59 goals, 41 assists) in four years. Mukhtar leads Nashville SC this season with 12 MLS goal involvements (5 goals, 7 assists).

Three in a row: Nashville SC forward Forster Ajago made his third consecutive appearance on Saturday night, playing 23 minutes plus 10 minutes of overtime, a career-high in MLS. During Ajago’s 33 minutes on the field, the Boys in Gold created six scoring opportunities.
