Leandro Trossard proves his worth again as David Raya saves Jakub Kiwior

With the win against Wolves at Molineux, Arsenal returned to the top of the Premier League table.

In a chaotic game, Leandro Trossard scored the first goal shortly before half-time and Martin Odegaard added a second shortly before the break.

Neither team was able to achieve much throughout the game and Arsenal were able to secure an important 2-0 victory in the end.

The win puts the Gunners back at the top of the Premier League, with Manchester City one point behind them.

Simon Collings was at Molineux to rate the Arsenal players…

David Raya 7

Saved a brilliant shot from Joao Gomes in the first half. Very neat and tidy in terms of his overall performance.

Ben White 7

An outsider for Arsenal’s player of the season. Always playing and just so consistent. Solid once again.

William Saliba 7

Apart from a sloppy pass midway through the first half, he was calm and collected and rarely faced any problems from Wolves.

Gabriel 7

Form has slipped over the last two weeks, but tonight is much better. Physically and in the air dominant.

Jakub Kiwior 5

Had a very shaky first half and was saved by Raya who made a great save from a Joao Gomes shot. He was more stable after the break.

Martin Odegaard 7

One of those guys who looked exhausted but carried on here anyway. He was in good form at times and scored a second goal for Arsenal in the last minute.

Declan Rice 7

Another one feeling the effects of Arsenal’s hectic spell, he was put back into the number 6 role and delivered a solid performance.

Kai Havertz 6

Back in midfield and a key presence for Arsenal. Won plenty of headers and fought well.

Bukayo Saka 6

Had a good old fight with Toti Gomes, who was after Saka from the start. Had the odd lively moment, but it was pretty quiet.

Gabriel Jesus 7

Did a great job on Arsenal’s first goal, catching the ball from the sky and passing it to Trossard. Looked better than he has in recent weeks.

Leandro Trossard 7 | Star player

He opened the scoring with a shot from the outside of his boot. It was either a dream finish or a miss, but Arsenal won’t care.
