Further action took place in the National Women’s Soccer League across the United States, with three games scheduled.

The following happened.

What happened?

There were exciting scenes throughout all the games!

A last-minute penalty saw Bay FC Racing edge out Louisville to move within three points before North Carolina Courage beat Washington Spirit 1-0 in another narrow victory.

The Utah Royals then defeated the Portland Thorns in a late kickoff and the teams shared the points in a 0-0 tie despite only having 41 total shots on goal.

Moment of the night

Ashley Sanchez made headlines on Saturday after she terrified her former club by scoring the winning goal against the club.

Her shot was too much for goalkeeper Aubrey Kingsbury and she celebrated enthusiastically afterwards.
