The cause of death of Darius Morris has been announced.

The former Los Angeles Lakers point guard was found dead on May 4. His cause of death was coronary heart disease, with drug and alcohol use playing a role, according to the Los Angeles County coroner, according to ABC 7 and TMZ Sports.

The coroner’s report listed ethanol, cocaine and hydrocodone as “contributing factors” in Morris’ death, ABC 7 reported. His death was ruled an accident.

The athletics Shams Charania was the first to report Morris’ death in May. According to TMZ Sports, Morris was last alive before his body was found on April 22, when he felt ill and had flu-like symptoms.

After his death, his family released a statement to TMZ asking for privacy.
