The famous Parkesdale Farm Market is hosting its first Garden Festival this July

Parkesdale Farm Market (3702 W Baker St) is hosting the Flower Power Garden Fest on Saturday, July 13, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Presented by The Citrine Ghost, a licensed spooky plant shop in Plant City, this event promises to be a celebration of Parkesdale Farms’ rich (and delicious) heritage. We’re currently craving one of their famous TikTok strawberry pies.

There is a countdown on the Parkesdale website until January 2, 2025, when you can experience these beauties again.

Flower Power Garden Fest will showcase a carefully curated selection of plant and garden vendors offering a unique assortment of plants, garden tools and artistic creations. Foodies can look forward to delicious treats from Smitty’s Corndogs, Seasoned Green Vegan and Our Noire Kitchen, ensuring a delicious culinary experience.

A paradise for strawberry lovers in Plant City

Admission to this family-friendly event is free and open to all. Participants are encouraged to dress in ’60s and ’70s-inspired outfits and floral crowns.

Parkesdale Farm Market has deep roots in Plant City. The family behind the market has been growing fruits and vegetables on their vast farmland since the 1950s. In 1969, the original owner’s daughter, Cheryl, and her husband, Jim Meeks, opened this market and its delicious produce to the public.

For those who wish to participate as a seller, further information is available via email. [email protected].
