First trailer and release date for Oshi no Ko live-action revealed

Fans now have a first look at the upcoming Oshi no Ko Live-action adaptation, which has released an exciting first trailer and release dates for the TV series and film, both of which are set to stream on Prime Video this year.

As about the official Oshi no Ko Live-Action X-Account (formerly Twitter), The Oshi no Ko The television series will be released on November 28, 2024, the film will follow on December 20, 2024The first trailer for the project has been released, featuring Kaito Sakurai as Aqua Hoshino, Asuka Saito (Ai Hoshino), Nagisa Saito (Ruby Hoshino), Nanoka Hara (Kana Arima), Mizuki Kayashima (Akane Kurokawa) and Ano (Mem-cho). The live-action adaptations of “Oshi no Ko” by Amazon and Toei have been in development for two years

As previously reported, Amazon and Toei will Oshi no Ko Live-action. The former will distribute the series worldwide on Amazon Prime Video, while Toei will do the same for the film’s release. While Oshi no Ko Manga artist Mengo Yokoyari is not involved in the project due to other work commitments, but author Aka Akasaka was excited about how the series will approach the story. Toei producer and lead planner of the Oshi no Ko Live-action writer Ryusuke Imoto added in a new statement that the project has been in development for the past two years.

“Besides the excitement of producing it,” said Imoto, “I also feel a terrible pressure tormenting me that I can never get rid of. Just like the day I first read the original work, I sometimes dream of becoming a big fan of Oshi no Ko.” He continued, “We don’t yet know how much our work will resonate in the world. I will do my best to reach as many people as possible. I hope it reaches everyone’s hearts. Finally, I would like to thank all the key cast, staff and participants. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to you for standing with me during a time of great fear and pressure.”
