The Michigan football team is looking for players, and it seems almost odd that the Wolverines have not received a commitment in nearly a week given the rapid pace at which commitments are coming in.
One of Ann Arbor’s visitors in June was 2025 Alpharetta (Ga.) four-star edge rusher Julius Holly. Holly is a 6-foot-3, 225-pound dual-sport end who also played basketball in high school. According to 247Sports, Holly ran the 40-yard dash in 4.8 seconds.
Holly also visited and considered Georgia, Stanford, Ole Miss and Texas A&M, but ultimately decided on Michigan Football University as his target college on Saturday.

Here’s how Holly is rated by recruiting services:

Holly is Michigan football’s 13th recruit and the first edge rusher in the class (although defensive lineman Jaylen Williams would be a good fit for the edge spot). With Holly on the team, the Wolverines have 10 recruits who are four-star players and three who are three-star players, according to the 247Sports Composite.
Oklahoma, Penn State and Tennessee were some of Holly’s other big offers. Georgia was the favorite until a few days before he signed with the Wolverines.
