Skybound announces the release of the main comic series GI Joe Energon Universe for November

To celebrate Yo Joe June, Skybound has announced that its highly anticipated new GI Joe – The Movie The comic series starts in November with duke Writer Joshua Williamson, artist Tom Reilly and colorist Jordie Bellaire reunite to introduce a new version of GI Joe and Cobra into the shared Energon universe.

“Finally! The team is together! The response to the miniseries that led to this moment has been phenomenal. It was exciting to see long-time fans of the cult series and new readers come together to GI Joe – The Movie in the Energon Universe,” said Joshua Williamson. “What has come so far has been just a glimpse of the huge world of action and drama we’re bringing with the new ongoing series. Now it’s time to speed up the story as the newly formed GI Joe and Cobra meet for the first time!
