Taylor Starling’s redemption tour ends in Sturgis

The Taylor Starling The Redemption Tour ends with the main event of BKFC 63.

On August 3, in the final fight of BKFC’s highly anticipated debut in Sturgis, SD, Taylor will challenge Britain Hart for her BKFC Women’s Strawweight World Title, LIVE worldwide on the BKFC app.

Starling has been the subject of unfair harassment online since she lost to Christine Ferea in 40 seconds in the BKFC 28 main event duel for the 2022 BKFC World Women’s Flyweight Title.

Starling still receives messages about her loss to Ferea on a daily basis. The comments don’t bother her at this point and she has moved on from her loss. Starling, 28, used this fight as a turning point in her BKFC career and even spent time in the gym with her former opponent Ferea.

“I learned so much from that loss,” said Starling, who defeated Jenny “Savage” Clausius in January.

“Instead of just being mad that Christine kicked my ass, I used it as an opportunity to ask her questions and really learn how a champion operates and what I need to do to become a world champion.

“I’m a completely different fighter today than I was then, inside and out,” she adds. “If the version of myself today were to face that version of myself from my first title fight, I would knock her out too.”

Starling will have to settle for trying to knock Hart out – and that’s exactly what she plans to do in Sturgis.

“Britain has fought the best in the sport, but in the 115-pound division she hasn’t fought anyone who could really stand up to her and that’s exactly what I’m going to do,” Starling said.

“I’ll bring it to her and take the belt.”
