Naidu and other AP politicians condole death of veteran Congress MP D. Srinivas from Telangana

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu condoled the demise of senior Congress leader Dharmapuri Srinivas. In his message, Mr. Naidu said that Mr. Srinivas, who was a former minister and MP and chairman of the AP Congress Committee in undivided Andhra Pradesh, remained true to his principles throughout his political career and made a name for himself in politics. Mr. Naidu conveyed his condolences to the family members of the deceased Congress leader.

Minister of State for Steel and Heavy Industries Bhupathiraju Srinivasa Varma wrote on X that Mr Srinivas was dedicated to the people and his death came as a shock. Rajahmundry MP and BJP-AP leader Daggubati Purandeswari said she was saddened by Mr Srinivas’ death and prayed that God would give strength to the bereaved family during this difficult time.

Expressing his condolences, Deputy Chief Minister and JSP Chairman K. Pawan Kalyan said that Mr. Srinivas had done his best as Minister for Rural Development and Higher Education and had been a staunch advocate for Telangana’s statehood. He recalled that Mr. Srinivas had wished the JSP success during their few talks.

Former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed his condolences on the death of Mr. Srinivas and said the late leader’s close association with YS Rajasekhar Reddy was unforgettable. He said he was shocked by the death of Mr. Srinivas and his condolences went out to the bereaved family.
