Because I Love You featured, reviews Film Threat

Ok. You got me. Kudos to Bob Celli and his short film, because I love you.

Marco (Bob Celli) and Joanna (Jennifer Plotzke) prepare for a dinner party with Joanna’s longtime friend and Marco’s employee Jim (David Roberts) and his wife Beth (Melissa Joyner). Both Marco and Joanna are married for the second time, and Beth can’t help but notice how well they get along.

“…Jim and Joanna secretly discuss a secret meeting while Marco is at a board meeting.”

While Beth leaves, Jim and Joanna secretly discuss a secret meeting while Marco attends a board meeting. But Marco sees the two plotting from afar. In fact, the extremely observant Marco notices that a lot of things are going on between his wife and her “friend”. Marco is about to go on a business trip and he can only imagine what will happen to his wife and his “friend” while he is away.

I just want to say that it is difficult to implement intrigue in indie films, and writer/director/star Bob Celli shows an impressive mastery in because I love you. Tone is everything, and one wrong move and your story is a failure. I don’t want to give anything away, but its cast, visuals and costumes all come together beautifully to achieve everything that needed to happen to make the ending right.

You got me. Brilliant. Thank you for this unforgettable short film.
