As Swift prepared for launch, The “Tortured Poets” section During his song, Kelce – wearing a black tuxedo and top hat – surprised fans when he joined the dancers and carried his girlfriend away in an attempt to revive her. According to lip reader @tismejackieg, the football star urged his girlfriend, “Wake up! Wake up!” as he held her in his arms.

Hilariously, Swift appeared to respond, “I don’t want to,” while pretending to pass out. Kelce, who began fanning Swift, was the ultimate soccer dad as he told her, “Get back out there.” The pair had playful variations on this back-and-forth, with the football player dramatically exploiting the theatricality of the performance, including a moment where he pretended to put makeup on her face.

The pair’s on-stage chemistry was undeniable, although a source told Entertainment Tonight that Kelce only had a few hours to practice before his cameo.

Meanwhile, another source told the publication that their appearance was “definitely a new, crucial turning point in their relationship.”
